vaca spiel #1

Finally, a somewhat decent post!! So sorry for being a slacker but I was having too much fun enjoying our little mini vaca to post anything. But I was sure to take lots of pics!!

We arrived in Oahu @ 745 (which means our poor brady bunch family was up and at 'em @ the crack of dawn). YIKES!!



Here we are cruising to the hotel in our super-chic minivan. And let me tell you, I am not a minivan kind of mom............not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not for me.......but if I ever did get one, this puppy would be it. It was a Chrysler (idk what model) that had storage compartments in the middle section and every single seat reclined-even the ones in the back!!! Luv it!!

Here is everyone (zzzzzzzzzzing away in their RECLINED seats) on the way to the waterpark. My poor babies were worn out and all we had done so far was fly and check-in @ the hotel, lol.

Sorry, no pics @ the waterpark because I didn't want to bother with the camera. But it was nice and hot and we all had a blast!!

Here we are relaxing in the hotel "chill" room before we head out to dinner and then Dave & Busters.

And yes friends, we are still only on the first day of vacation. Hahaha.

Everyone was super tired by the time we got to D & B's. But the bright lights and loud bells instantly woke us up with our hands out waiting for daddy to fill them with loaded game cards. And you know daddy had lots of fun "helping" the kids play the games too!

Here are the two big boys racing against each other for bragging rights. So young and yet so competitive, lol~

Daddy's little partner kept us busy hopping from one machine to the next. Man those coins go fast!!

When we finally headed back to the hotel we were exhausted!! But we still had plans to wake up bright and early the next day for more fun fun fun!!!

The crazy journey continues.............

Its a Quickie

Just a quick little update.............

Its been a super fun, super exhausting weekend!

My boys started their fall season of soccer-all different ages/all different times=staying @ the field all day.

It's the bf's birthday on Tuesday so we went out to dinner to celebrate. Which we followed up with a surprise gathering of lots of great friends!! Thanks to everyone that showed up on time and ready to PARTY!!!!

We are still in the process of renovating our bedroom bathroom, so the bf spent all day today cutting and laying tile..........it's almost done and I'm so excited!! (Pics to be posted). Oh how I heart him!

We are leaving for a family trip on Thursday so I spent all day washing clothes and cleaning the house. With 3 constantly dirty, sports playing boys, and a bf that always has piles of work clothes, plus my manic attempts to be somewhat cute and dashing everyday.........let's just say it really did take me all day to get the laundry done, lol.

So, this upcoming week I will be:

My Luvs

Oh the heavenly luvs of my life. My four men drive me crazy with love and bonkers @ the same time. Our family is always on the go, from one sports practice to another, while still finding the time to do the super fun things like fishing and bowling with friends.

Kekama (8), Kamaehu (6), and Keau (4) are so full of energy it's mind boggling. I cannot understand it. I've decided to just chuck it up to the 9th wonder of the world category and move on. Add to that the fact that these three children, all baked in the same oven, are so different, yet so the same, and I'm really confused.

Kekama is my sensitive little man. Kamaehu is rugged and rascal. And Keau is just great. We are lucky to have a great family. (Totally worth all the headaches and horrible bags under our eyes)!

The big hunky one in the middle is my Ivan. I could go on for days and days, but to sum it up........I LUV HIM!! This is seriously one of those "thank God for small favors" kind of deals, because Ivan is the greatest thing, besides my kiddos, to happen in my life. And he will be the first one to tell you that I am not one of those mushy, waiting for a prince charming to rescue me from my tower, kind of girls. I am more of the Sasha Fierce/Independent Woman/Hear Me Say Roar, kind of girls. But, *sigh*, he is definetely, without a doubt, what I was waiting for AND needing for.
