Finally.........The Bathroom!!

Here is the post I have been dieing to write, and you have been waiting to see.

I'm sorry for leaving you hanging for so long. :(

To recap-

here is the bathroom before:

Yellow paint, old countertops, floors, fixtures, and we only had a shower, no tub.



With a little wishing and a lot of hard work.............

Here's my little man jumping for joy over his new bathroom!


We chose an earthtone color scheme (in contrast to my va va va voom red bathroom).

We cut out that huge partition, making the bathroom look and feel bigger. We kept the same toilet, sink, and cabinets. We just freshened up the cabinets with new white paint and new pull handles. The mirror is the same, we just added a frame around it and it totally changed the look!
We resurfaced the counter and added new, brighter lights.

The white cabinet on the wall, and all the towel hooks I bought at Target.

We added a new tub and marble tile (that we got at a super deal) that runs all the way to the ceiling. A curved curtain rod adds to the illusion of a bigger space and I just love my new curtain too!
Now the kids can splash and play without super soaking the floor.

The floor is now ceramic tile instead of linoleum. And we added white trim on the baseboards and crown moulding on the ceiling.
We now have a completely different bathroom! The bf and his dad worked so so hard and did it all themselves. We all love how it looks and I'm still amazed what a little remodeling can do to spruce up an old space. I feel like I'm in a hotel everytime I shower :)

The next project will be the biggie: the kitchen and living area- YIKES!!

I finally feel complete!! I hated not having a camera. It left me with the bad dream feeling of waking up naked in a crowded room- blah!


But I am now back to my old, clothed self, and I am so so so excited. I can't wait to take all these awesome top quality pictures!
I haven't really had a chance to play with it and figure it all out, but don't fret.
The weekend is here and I am ready!

I am actually looking forward to Monday

Yay for the weekend!! I am a weekend kind of girl. I look forward to the weekend like no other. Hanging with friends, relaxing, beach days with the fam bam......oh the good life.

But, this week, I can't wait for Monday to come. Because..............that's when my camera is supposed to come in!! Super Yay!!

I am so so excited! I hate posting blogs without pics, and I hate not having a camera to take pics of my jewelry and the fam.

We have lots of plans for the weekend, and it will be fun, but come on Monday!

Attention ladies and gents~ the camera has been ordered!!

Hooray, Hooray! I ordered my Canon T2I minutes ago and I am so so so excited for it to get here. Costco.com had the best deal (I felt), and they usually have pretty quick shipping. So I'm crossing my fingers that I get it by the end of the week!!

With that said, I am hereby giving all readers a fair warning that I WILL be bombarding you with pictures, pictures and more pictures!

Hi all!

I had hoped to have a post today about the brand spanking new, I have the greatest new pics, camera I just bought, but unfortunately, NO!

They didn't have the camera I wanted @ costco, but they do have it @ costco.com. So, looks like I'll be about another week without a camera. But.................the good news is that one is on the way- HOORAY!!

The first day of a great year!

Happy 2011!! I know this year will be awesome. I can feel it. And i'm super excited to get the ball rolling.

I did run into a little snag (already), but am determined to do whatever I can to keep on trucking.

With all the chaos of Christmas (kids, family, parties, presents, rubbish everywhere, a super messy house, etc) I managed to lose my camera :(

I had this last week off and had so many things to do on my "i'm definetely gonna do it list", but about half of those things included the use of my camera. So, i still have a 2010 list to cross off while I continue to build my 2011 list. But how boring would life be without a few challenges thrown in there??!! Lol

So no pictures for now. :( :( :(

Off to continue the hunt for a new camera,
