I am actually looking forward to Monday

Yay for the weekend!! I am a weekend kind of girl. I look forward to the weekend like no other. Hanging with friends, relaxing, beach days with the fam bam......oh the good life.

But, this week, I can't wait for Monday to come. Because..............that's when my camera is supposed to come in!! Super Yay!!

I am so so excited! I hate posting blogs without pics, and I hate not having a camera to take pics of my jewelry and the fam.

We have lots of plans for the weekend, and it will be fun, but come on Monday!

Attention ladies and gents~ the camera has been ordered!!

Hooray, Hooray! I ordered my Canon T2I minutes ago and I am so so so excited for it to get here. Costco.com had the best deal (I felt), and they usually have pretty quick shipping. So I'm crossing my fingers that I get it by the end of the week!!

With that said, I am hereby giving all readers a fair warning that I WILL be bombarding you with pictures, pictures and more pictures!

Hi all!

I had hoped to have a post today about the brand spanking new, I have the greatest new pics, camera I just bought, but unfortunately, NO!

They didn't have the camera I wanted @ costco, but they do have it @ costco.com. So, looks like I'll be about another week without a camera. But.................the good news is that one is on the way- HOORAY!!

The first day of a great year!

Happy 2011!! I know this year will be awesome. I can feel it. And i'm super excited to get the ball rolling.

I did run into a little snag (already), but am determined to do whatever I can to keep on trucking.

With all the chaos of Christmas (kids, family, parties, presents, rubbish everywhere, a super messy house, etc) I managed to lose my camera :(

I had this last week off and had so many things to do on my "i'm definetely gonna do it list", but about half of those things included the use of my camera. So, i still have a 2010 list to cross off while I continue to build my 2011 list. But how boring would life be without a few challenges thrown in there??!! Lol

So no pictures for now. :( :( :(

Off to continue the hunt for a new camera,

Merry Christmas To All

Day 2/3-Experimenting

December 02/03~

Second day and I'm already cheating. Lol.

As you can tell, I didn't do a post last nite. My lil best buddy was just way too warm and cuddly cozy, so I fell asleep instead of being productive- ZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

But, **drumroll**, I did wake up this morning @ 3am to make up for it. I brewed myself a monster pot of coffee and got to it.

So, yes, I cheated, but technically, I was only 3 hrs late, haha.

Ironically, once I was able to crawl to the bathroom and splash some water on my face, the time zoomed by!! Before I knew it, it was 6 am and I was waking the kids up and getting ready to head out the door.

My project for the morning was to make a very special bday present for a very special young lady that is having her sweet 16 party tonite. And I am soooo nervous! I always worry when I make gifts. Will they like it? Will they not wear it? Oh well, I guess it's the thought that counts.

It is now almost 830 am, and I am exhausted!! Seriously falling asleep driving to work. :(

So I don't know what's going to work for me. Stay up late or wake up early? Plus, my body isn't used to doing either!!

I'll be posting pics of the bday present later, so I don't ruin the surprise :)

Day 1- Accomplished

December 01, 2010: Day 1.

Mission: Do one thing for Zaia jewelry, if not more.

My mission for today was to get some holiday necklaces made with some super special Swarovski focals that I've been eyeing.

Sparkly Snowflake Swarovski.............say that five times fast, lol.
Bonus: I also made some super cute Swarovski shell necklaces with a Swarovski crystallized pearl.
I was also able to edit and touch up some of my listings on Etsy, hoping to establish the right selling groove.

Landmines & ambushes:
I miss lying in bed with my lil best buddy. He is so warm and cuddly and laying with him is probably the best part of my day. Plus, I love how he cuddles up to me when he falls asleep.
It is now 11:05 pm.............way past my normal bed time, and I'm tired. I pity my co-workers tomorrow, because I am sure to have my grumpy face on.
How long did I say I was going to keep this pre-New Year resolution up?
